Tami Booth is our Parent tot class teacher and our lead 3s class teacher. This gives her the unique opportunity to “move up” with our youngest students as they progress to the next level in their education. Tami has an Associate’s Degree in Child Development from Schoolcraft Community College. She has been an early childhood educator for over 13 years.  Tami’s experience with children includes raising two college aged boys, preschool teaching, and providing in home childcare.

Kari Yergin is our 3s assistant teacher.  She earned a BA in English from The University of Michigan and an Elementary Teaching Certificate from Eastern Michigan University while beginning to gain teaching experience in a preschool. Since then, she has enjoyed teaching first and third grades in addition to working with children of all ages in church and camp settings, her in-home daycare, and most recently a reading tutor program in the South Lyon elementary schools. She is also the mother of three children.

Casey Branch is our 4s lead teacher. She has a BS degree in Child Development and Teaching from Michigan State University. Casey has been working with children for over 25 years. Her experiences include working with children in both public and private child care centers and preschools, substitute teaching, teaching Sunday school, running a home childcare business, and raising twins.

Stacy McGraw is our 4s assistant teacher.  She has many years working with children in a variety of capacities.  Along with raising two teenaged girls, Stacy has worked in childcare at Jazzercise, assisted children’s figure skating classes, specialized as children’s hairstylist, and worked as a room mom/field trip chaperone/after school activity assistant.

Susan Karczynski is our Young 5s class lead teacher.  She has a BA degree in General Studies from The University of Michigan and Master’s degree in Teaching from Wayne State University. Susan’s more than ten years of experience includes raising two children, teaching kindergarteners, second and third graders, substitute teaching, and working with young children in Safety Town and Sunday School.

Stephanie Petrosky is our Young 5s assistant teacher.  She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education from Martin Luther College. She also holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Development from Oakland University. Stephanie’s over ten years of early childhood experience includes mothering two girls, teaching three/four year old preschool, kindergarten and first grade, and serving as the Assistant Director of a nationally accredited preschool.



Our teachers are CPR and First Aid certified. All teachers attend early childhood training each year.
